The war in Mozambique extracted a terrible price… hundreds of thousands of lives, many of whom were children. However, a lucky handful managed to escape to the islands, the Bazaruto archipelago. These peaceful havens were untouched by the war. Ironically, since the peace accord on the mainland was signed, their future has been under threat. This episode of “On Track” takes a look at the island fauna and the conservation thereof.
