The War and Peace show has become one of the world's biggest events of its kind, bringing together collectors of militaria as well as military vehicle enthusiasts. For one week in September the Kentish countryside around the Hop Farm is transformed into an enormous military encampment. Re-enactors representing a wide variety of military units strongholds for the duration. These living history displays are fascinating because of the participants’ enthusiasm and commitment to detail - even if it means former foes sharing the same field.
