Cheryll Gillespie is a true renaissance woman with a penchant for perfection and a passion for adventure. She is famous for her creative verve and magnetic approach to shopping, food, fashion and art.
Cheryll's keen eye for detail and sense of style led to a growing and successful career in interior design and the media. She ran an interior design firm in Western Canada for 15 years, specializing in both commercial and residential design work. As an established and celebrated designer, she began to share her expertise with national audience - through television, radio and print. Today, in addition to hosting two popular radio shows, her column on construction, design and décor has made her one of the most successful syndicated columnists in Canada.
Cheryll is also a seasoned traveler. She's been to every continent and to date, over 50 countries. She combines her love of traveling and culture with real estate and design by bringing home creative fashion ideas, exotic products and the aspiration and inspiration to create great looking rooms in the several homes she owns and builds with her husband, Roger. They regularly import products from exotic locations such as Thailand, Turkey, Africa and China.
A native of Ontario, Canada, Cheryll grew up in the north enjoying the outdoors - from snowmobiling and skiing to swimming and sailing. She and Roger currently live in Kelowna,the heart of the Okanagan wine valley, (Canada) and share a love for travel and shopping. Their daughter, Samantha, followed in Cheryll's footsteps with a passion for fashion and creative zeal. She received one of the largest scholarships in Canada and now attends the University of British Columbia.
