Canada’s newest province, having joined the nation in 1949, Newfoundland and Labrador might also be Canada’s most unique province. Newfoundland and Labrador starts with the ocean and the bounty it provides. We’ll get a stomach full of that as I visit Petty Harbor-home to the local fishing industry. I’ll anchor my stay at the St. John’s Fairmont hotel, which natives simple call “the hotel.” I’ll sample some great restaurants, visit a real ole’ fashioned neighborhood grocery store, and taste some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had at Moo Moo’s, a local tradition. It’s a maritime adventure as only Culinary Travels with Dave Eckert can do it!
