To most American, luxury barging may be a relatively unknown experience. In this edition of JustSayGoTV, Ron Stern takes you on a tour of the French countryside aboard L’Impressioniste, one of the barges in the European Waterways fleet. Starting in Paris, Ron will board a high speed train to Dijon. There he is greeted by the barge staff and taken to his new floating luxury hotel from a week’s worth of adventures. Along the way he will show you some of the highlights of barge cruising, including the incredible food, wine and cheese that is part of each meal. He’ll show you some of the best places to visit including a 12 century winery, a castle fit for a king, a restored abbey that now serves gourmet cuisine and a 15th century hospice for the poor in the town of Dijon.
