In this program Ron stern (aka: The Global Gumshoe) investigates the town of Grand Lake, Colorado. Nestled at one end of Rocky Mountain National Park has made it one of the most popular and beautiful vacation spots to visit. Detective stern investigates some of the early history behind the town’s early pioneers including the story of how Grand Lake got its other name: Spirit Lake. Elsewhere he runs a fowl of a brewery owner, goes undercover as a rich, eccentric millionaire, samples same local beers, and becomes involved in an unlikely audition at the local theater. He ends his investigation in his usual non-conformist style, all the while trying to stay one step ahead of his persnickety boss, Darla Kennedy.
